Terms and Conditions

Please read our terms and conditions carefully before using our website.

Proceeding to use the website will indicate your acceptance of the following terms and conditions. If you wish to use any services produced online now or in the future, you are also subject to the applicable terms. We reserve the right to change the website and these terms and conditions from time to time without notice to you, and your continued use of the website indicates your continued acceptance of the terms and conditions as modified.

 

GST

All our products are GST inclusive.

 

Substitutions

Substitutions may be necessary to ensure your order is delivered within your specified delivery timeframe. Gum Nuts and Chocolates reserves the right to substitute that item with a similar item that has equal or greater value.

 

Glassware

When ordering glassware, please allow 7-10 working days for the process of your order. All glassware is packaged with care and safety in mind, to avoid damage or breakage. In the event a product is delivered damaged, please inform us as soon as possible (within 2 days of delivery). We will be more than happy to replace that item once it has been sent back to Gum Nuts and Chocolates and deemed damaged. A replacement item will then be sent as soon as possible back to the recipient.

 

Hampers

If an item is delivered damaged in a hamper, please inform us as soon as possible (within 2days of delivery) and we will be more than happy to replace that item in the hamper, once it has been sent back to Gum Nuts and Chocolates and deemed damaged. A replacement item will then be sent as soon as possible back to the recipient. Gift hampers that include alcohol may only be purchased and delivered to persons over the age of 18. All cancellation of gift hampers must be made within 48 hours prior to delivery, as we do not accept cancellations once the hamper has left our premises.

 

Refund Policy

Gum Nuts and Chocolates is more than happy to cancel any order placed and issue a full refund with 48hours notice prior to delivery. Refunds and cancellations are at the owners discretion and you must have a valid reason. Gum Nuts and Chocolates will not refund if you simply change your mind about your purchase. If you feel that we have not provided an adequate service, or you feel that there are discrepancies in your order, we will investigate the circumstances, and a refund will be issued duly. If more than 30days has lapsed since the date the order was placed, we will not honour our refund policy and issue any refunds under any circumstances.

 

Delivery Information

  1. We will endeavour to deliver as close as possible to your requested delivery date, but as this is not always possible due to unforeseen circumstances, late delivery does not constitute a failure of our agreement, and does not entitle cancellation of an order.
  2. Unfortunately we cannot accept a specified delivery time, but we will endeavour to deliver as close as possible.
  3. There may be times when hampers are delayed in the delivery process despite our best efforts in rectifing this, for this reason, our delivery table can be an estimate only.
  4. It is the customers responsibility to inform Gum Nuts and Chocolates if their order does not arrive. We will then lodge an enquiry with the courier service, to ensure delivery occurs as quickly as possible.
  5. No deliveries are made on Sunday or Public Holidays.
  6. We will not accept liability for any loss or damage arising from items lost or stolen after delivery. This includes hampers left unattended at a specified delivery address e.g. left outside front or back door.

 

Bulk Orders

  1. Please allow extra time and an earlier date when ordering in volume to avoid disappointment.
  2. All bulk orders require a deposit on confirmation of order.
  3. Discounts may apply on volume orders, please phone our friendly staff to discuss your order.
  4. Rates on delivery charges and times may vary, please contact us on this matter.

 

Website Integrity

You agree that you will not:

  1. use or attempt to use any device, software or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of the website;
  2. do anything which imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on the website’s infrastructure;
  3. use or transmit any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, file or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of the website;
  4. except where used in connection with the typical indexing activities of a search engine or directory, use or attempt to use any robot, spider or other automatic device or manual process to monitor or copy the web pages or content of the website without Gum Nuts & Chocolates' consent.
